BoneMarrowMononuclearCells(BMMC)arelocatedinthebonemarrowandhaveregenerativecapABIlities.PrimaryBMMCareaheterogeneouspopulationofsinglenucleuscellswhichincludehematopoieticstemcells,hematopoieticProgenitorcells,immaturemonocytes,andimmaturelymphocytes[1].RecentstudiessuggestthatBMMCaresuitableasacelltherapytotreatavarietyofdiseasessuchascardiovasculardisease,type1diabetes,andischemicstroke[2,3,4].BMMCmayalsobeusedforbonetissueengineering[1].PrimarymouseBMMC(MBMMC)canbeutilizedtofurtherstudyBMMCasapotentialcelltherapy.
MBMMCfromScienCellResearchLaboratoriesareisolatedfromhealthyadultCD-1mousebonemarrow.MBMMCaredepletedoferythrocytesandbonemarrowmacrophages,cryopreservedimmediatelyafterisolation,anddeliveredfrozen.MBMMCareamixedpopulationofcellsthatincludehematopoieticstemcellsandprogenitorcells,monocytes,andlymphocytes.Eachvialcontainsatleast10millioncellsin1mlvolume.MBMMCarequalitycontroltestedforviability.MBMMCarenegativeformycoplasma,bacteria,yeast,andfungi.MBMMCcanbemaintainedforashortperiodoftimeincultureusingtheconditionsprovidedbyScienCellResearchLaboratoriesandarenotintendedforlong-termculture.
